 New Store Openings Manager - Retail / Hospitality

Location: Field Based (UK-wide travel required)

to £50,000 + car + bonus


What we need

We’re looking for a highly organised and familiar with conventional commercial practices New Store Openings to join our growing team. This is a pivotal, field-based role responsible for identifying, validating, and converting properties to our new operating model — ensuring each launch is delivered on time, on budget, and to an exceptional standard.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Conversions, Area Managers, Business Development Managers, Project Managers, Operators, and third-party partners to ensure every new opening is set up for long-term success.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support the identification and assessment of properties suitable for conversion
  • Help plan and maintain a robust pipeline of new sites.
  • Attend capex briefings to ensure investment projects align with operational and market needs.
  • Manage each opening from start to finish — ensuring venue launch on time, within budget, and in line with brand and operational guidelines.
  • Develop and execute detailed opening plans in collaboration with multiple stakeholders
  • Support Operator training and onboarding for new openings.
  • Review and evaluate completed conversions, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Develop demonstrable cross-functional relationships across field teams, support functions, and Head Office departments.
  • Play an engaged role in business-wide projects and initiatives to create operational excellence and growth.

About You

You’re a natural project manager who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. You know how to balance multiple priorities, engage with a variety of stakeholders, and deliver projects that meet expectations


Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable experience a multi-site management role within hospitality or retail.
  • Experience of new store opening project management and multi stakeholder management
  • Ability to manage multiple openings simultaneously through project management skills
  • Evidence of communication skills confident in influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Skilled in planning, delegation, and time management, with a focus on efficiency and quality delivery.
  • Commercially minded with relevant business accumin and understanding of market dynamics.
  • IT proficient (Word, Excel, Outlook – intermediate level; PowerPoint – basic).
  • Full UK driving licence essential.

Working Arrangements

This is a field-based role with regular national travel. Attendance at Head Office is required for specific meetings and collaboration sessions.
