Your experience
- Within the retail sector, you will currently be managing a store and leading a team within retail, DIY, furniture, homewares or alternative big box high volume multi department units, with the main focus of acting commercially and encouraging sales through exemplifying best practice customer focussed proposition
- With responsibility for the leadership, success and development of your team, you will demonstrate leadership, ensuring that your team’s personal development and departmental success is the focus of everything that you do.
- You operate effectively in complex situations through engaging and inspiring those around you to follow and 'join' the journey
- You will have a demonstrable track record delivering sales and great service against a suite of KPI's at management level within customer focused retail environments.
Day to day
- As a Store Manager, you will be accountable for delivering commercial sales performance, operational excellence and commercial sales performance across your store
- You will be visible, available and delivering to the best of your ability in the store. Your time in the store is to get under the skin of the operation and deliver the best results possible through your team
- Leading by example you will be adept at winning over the hearts and minds of your people and engaging them in your vision for your region. You will set stretching metrics and will ensure your team are motivated to meet and exceed these expectations by delivering evidence of good service and capitalising on sales opportunities. Service that sells in our truest sense.
