UK Operations and Logistics Manager - Milton Keynes - up to £45k
Our client is growing luxury technology company and is now looking for talented people who are collaborative and innovative to join their team. With continued growth planned for the new financial year an opportunity has arisen for an UK Operations and Logistics Manager to join the business to work within their warehouse/head office.
What will you be doing?
Manage the busy Milton Keynes operations office, responsible for day to day management of the UK HQ operations, including overseeing Admin, IT, HR and Sales; ensuring all operations run efficiently
You will have responsibility for providing management support in decision making with suppliers, store managers, subcontractors and affiliates.
Implement and manage stock targets across Group companies, (to be set by qty and %) and work with our Finance team and the various functional teams to ensure minimum targets are maintained, driving down stock levels while meeting replenishment demand to satisfy sales demand.
You will also have personal responsibility for supporting the Global Operations Manager.
Management of end to end operations for retail stores, including logistics/freight to fulfilment.
Work with stakeholders to plan and co-ordinate inventory (materials, consumables and product) movements and in-bound and out-bound logistics.
Identifying new commercial process improvements and making recommendations.
Maintain accurate physical and ERP system inventory by conducting cycle counts and full physical inventory counts as required, across the group companies and for inter-group transfers & locations
What background will you need to have?
Proven track record in logistical, administrative, and systems operational; warehouse management experience procurement/purchasing, ideally in the tech industry.
Proficient working knowledge with SAP would be a distinct advantage
You will be experienced in dealing with multiple stakeholders and collaboratively across a business
Experience working in a fast paced environment and will be have strong commercial awareness
Be an excellent communicator both written and verbal with advanced user knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint
Ability and willingness to travel across locations, as required by the business.
