A Head Office role in retail looking after stock management / merchandising through excel, this role is all about ensuring availability of product and promotions working closely with the buying team to maximise sales.
This product is working on perishable goods, so an interest in this would be good because you will be working with the product on site and with suppliers. As its perishable it has a short shelf life so you'll need to be at the top of your game to maximise stock. The buying team have incredible knowledge and if you are a team player and love excel and vlook ups and pivot tables this is a great role to learn more.
This is a key role for the business but it's a collaborative one so you must be happy to share your ideas and listen to others to achieve the best result. You will need to be good with dealing with ambiguity and draw energy from working with others.
You must have previous head office merchandising / stock management / category management experience and very strong excel skills and be comfortable manipulating numbers in V-look ups and pinot tables.

Office based but some travel to suppliers with Buyer occasionally. You must be able to commute by car for this role due to its slightly rural location.
