We are currently looking for someone to join us as a Recruitment Consultant for our Buying & Merchandising Team. Based at Hillswood business park, alongside Samsung's European HQ, we are lucky to be working in a lovely environment that is just a stone's throw from the M25.
We are a long way from the stereotypical recruitment firm and will offer in depth induction and training over your first 12 weeks delivered by Directors with an average of 20 years commercial experience. Fortunately we have a few younger managers to balance out the dinosaurs (!) and as such you will be managed by a colleague whom has been through the same training programme within the last 5 years. We have recruited Buyers, Account managers, Retail Store Managers, Restaurant Managers amongst many others and so we understand the unique challenges that you are likely to face when changing career. As we invest heavily in your development we have no interest in the usual revolving door approach that many firms employ, we really do want you to succeed. Once through your induction the ongoing support will comprise of weekly reviews focussing on your development behaviourally. This is complemented by daily catch ups to develop your skills and to give often much needed words of wisdom. We work to a timetable of you achieving your first promotion within 12-15 months with further promotions pegged annually and then bi-annually dependent upon performance. We can offer future careers in team management, account management or business development and we start the career planning process after around 6 months.
Recruitment is not an easy job but it isn't as bad as is often described on LinkedIn or in the wider media. It can be highly rewarding, mentally, emotionally and of course financially.
