My client is a leading Global specialist Dine supplier to leading retailers looking for a Quality Assurance Manager. This is

an integral role within the business, the Quality Assurance Manager - Dine will ensure all products are fit for purpose, meet the requirements of acceptable quality, are safe and consistently meet legal compliance. This is an opportunity to use your extensive QA experience to drive new product development and lead a team to plan, direct and coordinate quality assurance programs and formulate quality control procedures and policies for branded and private label dine / tabletop / ceramic ranges. This is a rebuild job where you will have the opportunity to nurture a team and make a real difference to process and quality.

You will need to be a confident individual. Currently the function is in need for someone with strong experience to lead the business to better ways of working. It needs an expert to turn things around. In return you will have the Trading Director and MD's full support. This is a senior role where you will also lead on driving NPD, product testing and ethical and technical factory compliance.

The successful candidate will report to the Trading Director with a team of 2 and is responsible for delivering technical support and advice whilst working with the buying team to develop a reliable and effective supply base and have:

  • Must have Quality Assurance experience in one of these home / dine / cutlery / tabletop / glass / ceramics

  • Experience with working in the retail / FMCG sector

  • Confidence sourcing and factory audits (AQL)

  • An experienced QA head of / Manager who has worked closely with factories and suppliers to ensure a full understanding of national and international standards and ensuring quality procedures are enforced.
