My client is an established Hospitality operator with a fun and inclusive culture, a premium product and lots of new store openings planned. If you want to progress then this business is the place to be!

What does the role involve?

A key part to this role is to support & facilitate the brands strategic people vision, to strive to be 'the UK's best for talent and training across our regional area teams and supporting our store structures.

You will be the influencer of site-level talent across our regional area teams, supporting our management teams to drive the delivery of excellent training and influencing them to strive for consistent & best in class standards.

HR / ER

* Translates business requirements in partnership with senior managers into effective HR/ER practices to deliver and embed people solutions aligned to business objectives.

* Using performance data to support the future succession planning ensuring fairness and consistency.

* Support in all HR queries/ER issues are dealt with in an appropriate and timely manner.

* Actively identify knowledge gaps, propose and implement changes necessary to improve ways of working.

* Working with the Head of People to formulate the people strategy for the year ahead and working diligently to deliver all aspects within the plan.

* Analysing site result and reporting on key performance indicators; whilst identifying key trends and proposing suitable solutions.

Recruitment

* Advise senior site managers on full recruitment process and procedures and induction process for consistency.

* Upskill senior site managers to identify talent of the future and develop succession planning for all management levels.

Professional Facilitation

* Educate senior site management levels to demonstrate consistency of the talent identification processes to ensure only the best in class, calibre and standards across the business are maintained.

* Actively drive talent & ensure performance reviews are completed to develop future succession planning.

* Drive continuous improvement with upskilling workshops, providing an environment for others to develop and grow.

* Support senior managers to ensure structured feedback on performance is given to their teams through the business appraisal & review processes.

Training

* Represent the business restaurant training across your region, by leading & participating in key people projects that affect how our training offer evolves and remains fit for purpose, alongside business change.

* Ensure that every new senior management starters understands the HR practices and systems.

* Continually review & feedback to improve training process, giving senior management feedback regarding their training styles & techniques.

* Provide constructive feedback to senior managers regarding talent, calibre and training progress.

What qualities will you need for this role?

* A Passion for people, a strong work ethic and a passion for driving results.

* Functional HR experience within the hospitality or retail industry is desirable but NOT essential.

* Experience to demonstrate success as a coach/trainer.

* Ability to influence & drive people success.

* Strong drive for results and ability to self-manage

* A hunger for success

* An eye for detail

* A structured & consistent approach to work
