This online business has gone through huge growth and as part of that is recruiting a new role to support the team. You will uploading product and information on to the website to drive sales and be an important member of the team with progression opportunities for anyone hungry to develop!
We are looking for a creative, commercial, data-driven Online Merchandiser to join our fast-paced E-Commerce team. You will support the Assistant E-Commerce Manager to deliver the trading and content plans across multiple branded storefronts / website.
To ensure success as an Online Merchandiser, you will have good merchandising knowledge and you'll work strategically to deliver the best shopping experience across all storefronts. You'll need to possess excellent communication and organisational skills as well as having meticulous attention to detail. You'll work well to deadlines and be able to perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently.
The candidate will be encouraged to build on their existing Online Merchandising knowledge and skills relevant to the role.
Execute merchandising strategies aligned to the trading and content plan across multiple branded storefronts.
Act as a brand guardian ensuring the merchandising of all storefronts is consistent and in line with brand guidelines.
Ensure each storefront is visually appealing and strategically merchandised for the target audience with bestsellers, trends and seasonal stories.
Be responsible for the briefing of online content to the Web Development team and the subsequent testing, feedback and sign-off prior to launch.
Support the Buying teams to review the merchandising of key categories/product listings and identify opportunities to increase conversion.
Work closely with the E-Commerce Assistant Manager to scope and set up promotions and any associated codes and reporting.
Support the product selection and gathering of digital assets to maintain consistency across channels.
Attend range and campaign sign off meetings with the E-Commerce and Buying teams.
Use analysis of audience behaviour, product performance and sell-through to contribute towards continuous optimisation.
Complete weekly website reviews and audits to ensure the highest standards of excellence, consistency and optimised performance across all storefronts.
Any other reasonable duties/requests as required.
Have a minimum of 1 years of experience in online merchandising, preferably in a retail business.
Have a good retail background and an understanding of online merchandising principles.
Previous experience working with Google Analytics, G-Suite (Docs, Sheets and Slides) would be advantageous.
Possess excellent organisational skills and have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Have strong communication skills and the ability to foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Be a strong team player, be goal-orientated and deadline-driven.
Have a positive mindset and remain professional at all times.
