This role will test everything you have got in your locker.
Being handed the keys by the property department to an empty shell you will be responsible for using your previous hands on operations and team training experience, your project management and stakeholder management skills to deliver the project of opening the new store.
Taking over an empty shell from the property team and handing over the keys to the general manager on opening day you will be responsible for delivering on everything in between and making sure that every new store opening is a resounding success.
Pulling on vast amounts of functional support you will be instrumental in co-ordinating the delivery of all departments for the sole purpose of delivering on your new store brief.
Alongside the practical elements you will be documenting the journey of these store openings in the best practice manuals, recording the learnings and turning your hard work into the company blue print for the next phase and the phase after that of openings throughout the UK.
Your learnings will be used to deliver training and development to all future members of the team and ensure the success factors are embedded in the culture of the business.
You will ideally have begun your career within the hospitality sector and have progressed to senior general manager or area manager level.
Through your natural drive and tenacity you will have been involved with and supported a number of new store openings, understanding the pressures that come with such exciting time focussed projects.
Building upon that you will have then taken your learnings into a learning and development / training role applying pen to paper and documenting these learnings into best practice manuals for the future growth of the company.
