This role is perfect for a Management Accountant or ambitious Finance Manager with experience within Hospitality! Working with the Head Office and Operational teams you will be pivotal in helping drive the growth of the business. This is a values led organisation with a very strong people based culture.
What will this role Management Accountant involve?
Review of existing supply contracts, harmonising and tendering new arrangements in a growing business
Responsibility for a finance administrator
Production of period end management accounts for stores, entities, and group consolidation.
Review and analyse Power BI reports
Overseeing period end closing procedures, ensuring correct reports and downloads are produced
Collaborate with the operational team to improve processes
Analysing and identifying business processes in need of optimisation
Annual accounts preparation for auditors
Review quarterly VAT submissions for entities & Group
Supplier payment authorisation
Suppliers spend analysis
What skills/qualities will you need for this role?
Ideally but not essential Qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
Financial project management experience
Cost accounting experience in a complex organisation
Hospitality experience
Business Central (MS), Twinfield Accounting Software and Basecone Invoice Authorisation Software knowledge an advantage
Microsoft Office including advanced Excel Skills
Power BI desirable but not essential
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a rapidly changing environment
A proactive hands-on approach
Helping to develop and improve internal accounting/ analytical systems/ processes
