Junior Web Merchandiser - Somerset - Up to £23k - Fast Growing Business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in E-Commerce with a fast growing business with excellent career progression and reputation for the quality of it's products.

What does the Junior Web Merchandiser role involve?

  • Ongoing support with on-site Merchandising, monitoring and analysing impact to AOV, making recommendations where possible to increase sales. Improvement of conversion through pro-actively understanding customer journey and identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Identify improvements for for metrics such as AOV, Bounce Rate, Vies and Conversion through the monitoring and analysis of web analytics.

  • Supporting internal stakeholders to ensure traffic to your categories is effective, ensuring alignment and implementation of SEO strategy. Ownership and accountability for the on-site search and automated product recommendation tools to increase AOV.

  • Data Analysis, reporting and informed decision making based on all available data.

  • Support counterparts to drive sales on-site and meet targets. Provide assistant to Web Trading Managers to ensure category consistency between websites.

  • Work closely with Marketing and Buying teams to support ongoing extensions and promotional activity. Pro-actively assisting with Liaise with Web Trading Planner to ensure that any relevant marketing activity (publications and promotions) are supported on the website.

Essential Skills and experience required for this Junior Web Merchandiser role:

  • A commercially and numerically minded professional with good attention to detail and strong excel skills.

  • A confident self starter, with E-Commerce experience being advantageous, but not essential.

  • Ability to effectively organise workload to meet deadlines.

  • Ambition and drive to learn / develop new skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships and influence to produce results.
