Interim Finance Analyst
Retail Sector
£40,000 per annum

AdMore are pleased to be working with one of the UKs largest food retail businesses to recruit a Finance Analyst on a 6 month fixed contract. The role is newly created, and exists to provide detailed modelling and insight on the impact of Brexit on the business, with a focus on Northern Ireland partners. As well as the financial impact, this role will also include being part of the team assisting with HMRC compliance requirements and potential reporting and tax obligations.

This will include the provision of business information , support to Sales & Operations in the preparation of plans and forecasts, and insight in to Partner and business unit profitability.

  • Supporting the Senior Business Partner to provide detailed profitability analysis
  • Identify possible opportunities and risks as well potential mitigations
  • Working with Sales, Commercial & Logistics to model an accurate assessment
  • Being part of the Financial Brexit Working group to support the business in the development of new emerging compliance procedures

What will you need to succeed?

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or relevant business/financial experience
  • Good knowledge and experience of business performance reporting and analysis
  • Knowledge of retail desirable
  • Strong Excel & overall IT skills and systems knowledge.
  • Good technical, database and numeracy skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills to organise the department to meet with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to maintain and develop relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
