HR Assistant - Oxfordshire - up to £23k - Fast-paced and Dynamic Business
This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR Assistant to join a specialist furniture and home retailer known for their high quality products and fantastic working culture. This is a key appointment for the business, with the ability to directly contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the business.
What does the HR Assistant role involve?
First point of contact for all HR related employee enquiries (i.e. policies and procedures, annual leave, pay etc.) Understanding issues and queries, offering advice and assistance to resolve accordingly.
Ongoing support of the recruitment and selection process; liaison with internal and external stakeholders, arranging interviews and all other related activities.
Pro-actively maintain and update the HR System undertaking relevant duties including distribution of contractual information, managing queries, payroll and other ad-hoc tasks.
Provide administrative support to the full HR process and all related elements, including but not restricted to benefits and compensation, minute taking at disciplinary meetings.
Essential Skills and experience required for this HR Assistant role:
Previous experience in similar or HR Assistant role.
Educated to degree level/CIPD Level would be an advantage.
A confident self-starter with the ability to pro-actively work on own initiative and think on their feet.
Ability to work in a discreet and confidential manner.
Be an effective communicator, with an ability to deal diplomatically at all levels, both internally and externally.
High level of attention to detail with the ability to plan and prioritise.
