Head of Brand and Visitor Campaigns
up to £65,000 depending on experience
The RHS is looking for a high calibre Head of Brand and Visitor Campaigns to grow awareness of the RHS and visitors to RHS Gardens and RHS Shows.
This role has been created to deliver innovative, effective marketing to grow engagement with the RHS brand and deliver more visitors to RHS locations and events, including RHS Gardens, RHS Shows and RHS Garden Centres.
Reporting into the Director of Members, Marketing and Digital, you will lead the implementation of RHS brand strategy, act as a brand guardian and tell the story of the important work of our charity to a wider audience. You will also be responsible for achieving visitor volume growth to our physical sites - both RHS Gardens and RHS Shows.
Key Skills and Experience
We are looking for a person that unites extensive experience in brand marketing and response marketing (ideally with a track record in visitor attractions, live events or retail) with a love of gardening. You must be able to translate the broad work of the RHS into a compelling story of how through gardening we can protect the planet and improve people's health.
You need to understand how to build and maintain brands, with strong creative skills and ability to develop effective, impactful work. At the same time you must be comfortable with budgeting, implementing and measuring marketing to drive visitor KPIs to our world famous RHS Gardens and RHS Shows.
You also need to be a collaborative and practical team player, happy to work with colleagues within Marketing, Communications, Gardens and Shows and the wider RHS to deliver an agreed strategy. You will lead a team of 14 people and work with a range of stakeholders around the organisation to realise the RHS' ambitions to inspire everyone to grow.
Contract: Permanent Full time
Reports to: Director of Members, Marketing and Digital
Based in RHS Garden Wisley with regular travel to the London office and to other RHS Gardens and RHS Shows.
