**E-Commerce Manager - Surrey - £55,000**

Fancy working for one of the fastest-growing retailers in the UK? Our client is looking to recruit a new E-Commerce Manager to be responsible for driving online sales and ensuring that conversion opportunities are always maximised within their business. The objective of this position is to manage onsite merchandising and marketing campaigns with the overall goal of improving the conversion and driving sales.

Specific responsibilities of this E-Commerce Manager role will include:


Trading

  • Responsible for achieving annual objectives, revenue targets and KPI's.

  • Website personalisation and optimisation.

  • Defining, driving and executing the website merchandising strategy. Ensuring focus throughout is on customer journey and user experience.

  • Develop the online customer retention programme

  • Create and manage a yearly Trading plan

Systems and Reporting

  • Compiling accurate daily, weekly and seasonal reports on trading performance, including product categories and ranges and KPI's

  • Proficient in the use of web analytics and internal reporting tools to ensure that areas are continually reviewed and instils this approach across the team.

Marketing

  • Create and manage a yearly marketing plan

  • Own all aspects of marketing campaigns - onsite and offsite

  • Develop and execute robust digital marketing plans in order to drive ecommerce sales and the customer experience through digital marketing channels.

  • Liaising with third party digital agencies, with responsibility for execution of paid and organic search acquisition strategy.

  • Plan and brief weekly marketing email to our subscribers.

Management

  • Leads line reports to successfully deliver the website and affiliate plans to agreed merchandising standards

  • Clearly communicates business and website objectives to the team

What skills will you need for this E-Commerce Manager role?

  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar E-Commerce role within retail.

  • You have a strong trading and analytical background with high commercial drive.
