Our client is a leading high street retailer with a reputation for offering their customers great service twinned with great value. They are seeing double digit growth across the UK wide network of stores.
This is a key role in achieving customer satisfaction and the overall regional performance for our client. As a leader in the market, the Divisional Manager will need to deliver against balanced target areas with a clear focus towards the customer.
The cornerstone of the Divisional Manager's role is to spend the majority of their time, coaching and developing their team of 4/5 Area Managers to improve customer satisfaction, team development and overall profitability. Strategic planning and time management skills are essential to ensure success.
Covering a large geographic region, effectively the South West of the UK from Worcester downwards, the role will see you spend a lot of your time with your Area Managers offering them support where needed.
With sites predominately located in predominant retail locations, it will be important for you to approach each area and site individually and be creative in your commercial approach.
Reporting directing into the Retail Director, this a key role to be part of a business that is achieving double digit growth.
The Ideal candidate will be driven and passionate with a real desire to be a leader of the future. We are looking for team players with the drive, tenacity and the desire to achieve all of their ambitions. We are looking for someone with strong commercial skills and business acumen.
You will have a clear, demonstrable track record in delivering success through others and have likely worked within some of the most successfull UK Retail Brands on the high street (Big brands or "Blue Chip").
As a Divisional Manager you will need strong coaching and development skills and a proven ability to drive results through your team in a collaborative fashion. You will need to have excellent literacy and numeric skills and proven analytical ability. The Divisional Manager needs to be a strong communicator with high personal standards and be exceptionally organised. Relationship skills will also be a key factor around your ability to influence Frnachise partners as well as the established company owned sites.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record at Regional or Divisional Manager level and be comfortable managing Area Managers. This could be a step up for you, but you will have to demonstrate you have lead large teams.
