With continued growth planned for the new financial year an opportunity has arisen for an Buying Admin Assistant to join the business to work within their head office.
What does this Buying Admin Assistant role involve?
As Buying Admin Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the buying and merchandising teams in day to day running of the department
Regular competitive analysis of trends and offers across the high street
Responsibility for sample management from initial sample through to approval for shipment
Working closely with the buyer you will be managing products through set up, compliance and into the business
Maintaining accurate range information enabling the team to make effective commercial decisions
Be involved with the set-up of new suppliers, ensuring all paperwork is filled in and returned in a timely manner
Responsible for all relevant administration for the department
What do I need to be successful in this role as Buying Admin Assistant Keen interest in starting a career in a fashion head office function
Have a fashion related degree
Experience in dealing with administration
Have excellent planning and organisational skills to ensure deadlines are met
Able to build effective relationships across all levels within an organisation
Can multi task and is happy to be challenged by a fast pace role with a high interruption level
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including IT proficiency (Excel especially)
