Skills & Experience required for this Buyer & Product Developer - Homewares role:

  • Currently working as a Buyer/Product Developer

  • Extensive experience in Far East sourcing and negotiating with suppliers

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to plan and organise your workload effectively

  • A keen eye for product and a natural talent for spotting opportunities and current market trends

What does Buyer & Product Developer - Homewares role involve?

  • Taking full responsibility for developing products within your category

  • Range building, new product development and managing of a product area

  • Liaising directly with factories to develop the product range from concept through to delivery at the right price point and quality standard

  • Briefing designers on new concepts and ranges based on current and future trends you have spotted

  • Category management of existing ranges

  • Travelling around the UK, Europe and the Far east

Based in Birmingham, this Buyer & Product Developer - Homewares role offers a salary of up to £45,000 plus a great package!
