Business Development Manager - Hertfordshire
Salary up to £30k Basic, healthy bonus potential excellent benefits and progression (OTE £42.5k)
95% Office Based but travel is required.
Identify, target and win new business combining our in house enquiry generation with proactive cold calling within the Business sales sector.
Retain and grow the Business customer base predominantly focussing on new customer acquisition whilst taking every opportunity with our existing and previous customer groups. Sell services within the Business customer market in line with Company targets and KPI's maximising revenue.
Understand industry/competitor customer trends and types adopting best practices for business growth
Ensure that inbound leads and enquiries are correctly qualified and converted.
Maximise revenue by creating strong relationships with National Account customers; delivering their requirements, identifying new opportunities, gaining referrals & maintaining individual relationships
Identify Key Accounts and plan/conduct joint reviews with these key accounts on a diarised basis identifying opportunities to increase revenue relating to each individual customer.
Proactively identify, target and acquire new business through phone/web/email enquiries and field based cold calling
Schedule and attend face to face meetings with key decision makers and influencers to win new business
Sell a wide portfolio of products and services
Deliver and maintain high standards of professionalism, conduct, customer service and customer administration at all times
Work with team members to facilitate the transition of account responsibility, ensuring accurate and cost effective implementation
Self-motivation, with a desire to succeed and develop both business and yourself
Proven track record of acquiring new business through proactive enquiry handling and cold calling
Proven track record of managing and developing a customer base face to face/by telephone/via email
Experience of selling a portfolio of products in a National environment
Successfully delivered targets consistently in a very competitive market place
