If you are an experienced Finance Business Analyst, ideally from a hospitality background and are looking for a new opportunity where you will have the autonomy to design, build and maintain management information and reporting alongside BAU support, then I would love to hear from you!
Reporting into the CFO, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of MI and Reporting Projects; from development to training and roll-out, dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders in a fast-paced role.
What will you be doing as a Business Analyst (Finance)?
You will be responsible for the review of existing Business Reporting and MI processes, analysing business needs to recommend, design, specify and implement Business Reporting and Management Information processes in line with Operational and Strategic direction of the business.
Explore current and potential system capabilities to maximise benefits to the business.
To pro-actively stay updated with emerging developments of technology within industry and keep stakeholders updated with relevant movements and opportunity.
Plan and manage projects to completion with internal/external stakeholders
Ensure projects are delivered within budget and on time
Support the business with BAU issues and improvement of processes.
Document and facilitate application configuration changes through a strict change control policy
Manage UAT Testing process with the business; ensuring training, support and trouble shooting throughout roll-out and post implementation.
What is required for this Business Analyst (Finance) role?
Strong experience of Business Analysis / Business Systems Analysis within a Finance function, experience within a Hospitality Business would be advantageous.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
Experience of business process modelling / business process engineering.
End to end project life-cycle and project management experience with a strong attention to detail/
Ability to analyse complex data sets and relational databases
Proven ability to manage change within an organisation
Strong Level of Experience in Microsoft Office Applications, Particularly Excel.
Accountancy qualifications desirable
