As the Assistant Merchandiser you will:
Prepare analysis for Monday Trade commenting on previous week's category/channel /product sales performance and present back to team
Project and advise line manager on forward commitment of purchases and stockholding.
Manage continuity product availability, making recommendations for repeats, managing delivery delays and keeping stocks to desired targets.
Liaise with the Buying team regarding launch of new item requirements, manage placement of orders with the MAA.
Attend relevant strategy and sign-off meetings. Support line manager to compile relevant analysis, identifying trends to make informed contribution.
Maintain and update category range plans ensuring full accuracy at all times.
