Assistant Merchandiser (Fashion) - London - up to £28k - Fast-paced, Growing Business. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Assistant Merchandiser to join a market leading business that is known for the quality of its product and service, currently investing heavily into it's online proposition. The position would involve multi-channel product lifecycle planning and forecasting with the support and development of an Allocator.

What does the Assistant Merchandiser (Fashion) role involve?

  • Plan and place orders for new lines according to agreed forecasts and phasing.

  • Provide weekly summary of performance within areas of responsibility, relating to sales, stock, profit and promotions and markdown versus budget and last year.

  • Plan and place re-orders for all core and new lines to maintain agreed range and Division sales, cover and stock targets and to maintain a credible offer.

  • Liaise with the warehouse to ensure that inbound and outbound priorities are set according to Category plans.

  • Maintain Weekly Stock Sales and Intake forecasts(WSSI).

  • Partner with the buying teams to create seasonal strategies for departments relating to all KPI'S.

  • Provide historical analysis to develop planning forecasts for areas of responsibility.

  • Ensure product is allocated to the right level and within OTB boundaries.

  • Actively partake in stock risk assessment and terminal stock actions.

Essential Skills and experience required for this Assistant Merchandiser (Fashion) role:

  • You will have experience at Assistant Merchandiser level, online experience would be preferable.

  • You will be a natural problem solver with an efficient and methodical approach to work, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Highly numerate and analytical with attention to detail and great Excel skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.

  • A strong team player, motivated to learn and progress in their career.

  • Calm within a fast-paced environment.
