Area Manager - looking for a change!

Recruitment Consultant - Weybridge - up to £35k Bonus Monday to Friday

What does a day look like in recruitment?

8.00am - Check emails

8.15am - Look through job applications

8.45am - Prioritise your jobs and plan your day

9.00am -Pick up the phone, find great candidates, and improve your network

11.00am - Meeting with Gemma a candidate for your Area Manager role based in Essex

12.00pm - Send Gemma's CV to your Client with a detailed description of why you think she is right for the role.

13.00 - Research your client's brand in preparation for a call with the Operations Director to take a job brief for a new Regional Manager.

13.30 - 17.30 - More phone calls, more voicemails, call John who had a final stage interview last week and offer him the position - write your placement on the board with a round of applause from the team, call your 3 unsuccessful candidates and give them feedback.

This is just a snap shot of a day in recruitment, it comes with highs and lows but always promises to be interesting, challenging and fast paced. If you think stepping out of a busy operational role in to recruitment will be a quiet desk job then you may be in for a surprise!
