With continued growth planned for the new financial year an opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager to join the business to work within one of their stores. You will live and breathe a 'service that sells' attitude, inspiring your colleagues to grow the business through a true customer focus. You will be a thorough retailer who is equally adept at managing the front end of the operation, driving the sale floor as well as the delivering top customer service.
What qualities will you need to be successful in this role of Sales Manager?
As Sales manager you will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of driving sales through loyal teams of people, within a high volume/turnover unit. Being a true leader is critical in this pressured environment to inspire and motivate your team to hit its challenging targets. You will understand the dynamics between sales, management and distribution in a large square footage business and be used to managing the performance of sales focussed teams. You will ideally have experienced trading in sales focused retail environments along the lines of Homewares / Furniture / DIY / Telecoms / Electrical.
