The Events Manager will be involved in running seasonal events for the business including Christmas, Food & Drink, and Wine Merchant Trade events operating throughout the UK. They will develop, manage, maintain and expand a portfolio of special events that improve service provision and choice to the public, enhance the profile and profitability of the business. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic Operations / Area Manager to do something very different and utilise your commercial skills.

So what does the Events Manager role involve?
Develop, maintain and improve a portfolio of high profile events within the UK.
Organisationally and financially manage these events in an effective manner.
Work with colleagues to maintain and manage a database of suppliers.
Liaising and negotiation with local authority officers in connection with new event sites.
Maintain performance records and imaginatively, creatively and dynamically seek realistic and attainable improvements.
