Promotions Co-ordinator, 5 Month FTC - Merchandising background. So what does this Promotions Co-ordinator, 5 Month FTC - Merchandising background role involve?

  • Co-ordination, sign-off and completion of promotional point of sale, enabling campaigns to run to plan and provide a consistent experience for customers.

  • Identification and recommendation of improvements to promotional development through trading activities, ensuring that approach is fit for purpose and delivery of outstanding results for the business.

  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with colleagues across various departments such as buying, merchandising, marketing, Visual Merchandising etc. Managing and resolving promotional queries.

  • Maintenance of promotional documents within the file management system to ensure a comprehensive recording and tracking of promotional activities.

  • Creation and Delivery of verbal and written communications to trading colleagues for forthcoming promotional activities, supporting cross functional synergy and commercial direction.

  • Arranging and facilitating meetings to discuss promotions up until launch date (9, 6 and 3 weeks prior to launch).

What are the requirements of the Promotions Co-ordinator, 5 Month FTC - Merchandising background role?

  • To have worked within a similar position or have experience in a retail merchandising background and looking for something different.

  • Good administrative skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong Excel skills with data analysis experience through the use of Pivot Tables, V Lookup, SUMIFS etc.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience using PowerPoint to create and deliver presentations.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Ability to prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines.
