Head of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning.

Sheffield, Birmingham, Up to £60k Package

A highly successful Apprenticeships provider that is going from strength to strength as it's apprenticeships provision continues to mature. Following further contract wins this business is looking to further enhance it's senior management team with the appointment of this position. This leadership role is responsible for the development and continuous improvement of apprenticeships & internal training.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the operations teams to manage the demand from employers for apprenticeships and other work based learning

  • Develop, maintain and execute the curriculum development road map

  • Manage the curriculum development team (including content and curriculum designers and an eLearning Manager)

  • Create a strong external network to benchmark and stay ahead of the competition

  • Develop a deep understanding of regulation and external quality requirements

  • Identify from various internal sources (both qualitative and data led) the internal development needs, and liaise with operations and quality to deliver internal learning and development to all staff

Experience

  • Experience with work-based learning environment, including developing curriculum for apprenticeships or similar qualifications

  • Experience in a teaching and learning environment, potentially including internal learning and development for staff
