Job Description

Do you have a strong background in Retail Buying? Do you have commercial Buying experience and looking for a new challenge?

Are you a confident decision maker with the ability to make important commercial decisions under pressure?

Our client is now looking for a Buyer to define the range and to deliver the best possible product range to their customers.

So what does this Buyer role involve?

Based in Berkshire, you will take full ownership for the delivery of agreed target KPI's in line with the department's overall strategy. Alongside the Senior Buyer, you will develop and implement strategic initiatives and ensure your plan is delivered smoothly, by influencing stakeholders, maintaining commitment to the category and leading the project teams.

You will be accountable for identifying the most effective sourcing routes for your product range.

What qualities will you need to be successful in this Buyer role?

* You will need to be commercially aware of both your category and the overall business, with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.

* You will be presenting directly to the CEO with various projects, so confidence in your presentation skills is key.

* You will be an influential leader who can build excellent relationships and manage small cross functional teams.

* You will need to negotiate effectively across all levels.
