Our Client is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team. They will work to improve their market position and achieve overall financial growth. The successful candidate will be required to work with the internal team, marketing team and other managers to increase business opportunities.
Home Based in the East Midlands.
What does the role involve?
Accountable for achieving overall profitability by leading by example to achieve your own budget, margin and KPI budget and help your team to do the same.
Work closely with other members of the team to promote our Client and ensure that maximum sales effort is sustained at all times.
Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop our Client's unique selling points.
Deliver consistent excellent customer service and remain professional and respectful at all times.
Maximise financial gain by working with your local General Manager on stock areas and eradicate waste/shrinkage.
Develop business across a geography of the East Midlands, new business and existing through a persistent sales driving ability.

Experience in developing business in the trade sectors would be an advantage.

You will either be an existing business development manager with an exceptional track record and be able to evidence that. Or you may come from a customer focused sales lead retail background (Furniture, Electrical or tel comms) wanting a fresh challenge. Both ways passion and energy for success are a must in this role.
Salary and Package:-
Up to £41000 FX Car Bonus at 15-20% Laptop, mobile and benefits package.
